Green Growth at Kemptville Colonnade
Wednesday July 21, 2010Category: News Letter
North Grenville is Green and Growing and this is showcased in our latest commercial development at Kemptville Colonnade where a number of new businesses will be joining our community. The new Wal-Mart location being constructed is dedicated to sustainable building practices and will be one of only three sustainable sites in North America. In addition, the new Canadian Tire facility being built is the first to be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. LEED is a third-party certification program that is internationally accepted as the standard for the design, construction and operation of sustainable green building and development practices. With the development of Kemptville Colonnade, and other commercial and residential expansion, North Grenville continues to lead the way in being both green and growing!
